Field Trip
Field trip to Bear Divide, Angeles National Forest. Wonderful bird migration site near Santa Clarita. We will meet at 6am to be waiting for the birds at sunrise.
Info about Bear Divide here. There is a map link on the website. When you get to the Bear Divide Picnic area, drive west 0.25 to the parking area on the right before the road closure gate, if there is room.
Note no facilities, but most of the birding excitement should be over by 9-9:30. We may stop by at Placerita Canyon for restrooms and birds after.
