As a member, you will receive the monthly Audubon magazine and our chapter’s Hummin’ newsletter. Contact the National Audubon Society support@audubon.org regarding national mailings or to update your address. Contact our chapter info@pvsbaudubon.org if you wish to stop receiving the Hummin’ newsletter or switch to email delivery.

The Palos Verdes/ South Bay Audubon Society is an independent 501(c)(3) organization. All donations are tax deductable. For donations less than $250, the IRS will accept the following as proof of a charitable donation: a canceled check, bank or credit union statement, or a credit card statement.
Give from a Donor Advised Fund
We can accept donations from tax-advantaged Donor Advised Funds. If you have a DAF account, you can simply direct donations from your DAF by finding us with our name: PALOS VERDES-SOUTH BAY AUDUBON SOCIETY or EIN: 91-2148859. Or, depending on where your DAF account is managed, you may be able to use this link to give directly from your DAF.
Please notify us of your DAF gift by emailing treas@pvsbaudubon.org and including the name of your DAF institution and gift amount to ensure we can thank you for your contribution. We are happy to answer any questions you may have about DAF donations.

Planned giving options
Create a legacy that supports our goals. By including Palos Verdes/South Bay Audubon Society as a beneficiary of your will, trust, retirement or insurance plan you are making one of the most meaningful and generous gifts you can make.
Wills
Residuary bequest: You can give all or part of the property remaining in your estate after debts, expenses, and specific bequests are paid. Such provisions can be made as follows:
“I give, bequeath, and devise (all, or _ percent of) the rest, residue, and remainder of the property, both real and personal, wherever situated, which I may own or be entitled to at my death, to PVSB Audubon Society at P.O. Box 2582, Palos Verdes, CA 90274, in the state of California, to be used for its general purposes.”
Specific bequest: You can establish a bequest of a particular dollar amount or asset with the following provision:
“I give, bequeath, and devise (dollar amount or description of gift) to PVSB Audubon Society at P.O. Box 2582, Palos Verdes, CA 90274, in the state of California, to be used for its general purposes.”
Other Giving Options
Naming Palos Verdes/South Bay Audubon Society a beneficiary of a retirement plan, life insurance policy or a bank account is another way to support the birds you love.
