Madrona Marsh is filled with local native plant species that attract a variety of bird species in various habitats that will delight any visitor. This is a guided tour. Registration is NOT required. Follow COVID guidelines advised by LA County Health Department, and bring a mask if desired. 23 8:00 am: Field trip to the LA River 8:00 am - 10:00 am Field trip to the LA River to see more returning shorebirds and miscellaneous migrants! 8:00am Take the 710 (Long Beach) Fwy S to the Willow Street offramp, head E over the LA River, and take the first right on Golden Ave, the first right on 25th, and follow this onto DeForest Ave. Park near the river access. We may head for other points along the river as well. No sun protection on the river, bring hats, sunscreen, and water!
