About us

Our next meeting will be April 21 at 7:00 pm

In-person at Madrona Marsh Nature Center and via Zoom

This Month’s Presentation:

The Butterflies of PV and the South Bay with Jess Morton

A look at the remarkable diversity and life histories of some of our non-avian winged co-inhabitants. As an appetizer for our coming spring and summer butterfly counts, Jess will dig back into chapter lore to show how the PV count is now one of the ten oldest in the nation, and how its existence has brought us an understanding of our rich heritage, especially of our endangered species.

We hold monthly presentations on 3rd Tuesdays from 7-9pm. Click above for more info, or click here to join our Zoom room (during meeting hours).

A migratory bird bill recently passed in the US Senate – check out National Audubon’s article highlighting the development, above!

We welcome individuals of all ages and experience levels to join us in guided explorations of a few of our favorite local birding spots.

ADOPTA Panama Rainforest promotes conservation and sustainable use of forests. Learn more about the organization and how we lend support.

Our chapter regularly hosts birding-related excursions to an exciting variety of habitats/locations.
