Planned giving options

Create a legacy that supports our goals. We endeavor to implement processes to preserve indigenous flora and fauna, especially that of our local area and provide educational services to local communities. By including PVSB Audubon Society as a beneficiary of your will, trust, retirement or insurance plan you are making one of the most meaningful and generous gifts you can make.

Wills

Your attorney may wish to use the following language:

A residuary bequest. You can give all or part of the property remaining in your estate after debts, expenses and specific bequests are paid. Such provisions can be made as follows:

“I give, bequeath, and devise (all, or _ percent of) the rest, residue, and remainder of the property, both real and personal, wherever situated, which I may own or be entitled to at my death, to PVSB Audubon Society at P.O. Box 2582, Palos Verdes, CA 90274, in the state of California, to be used for its general purposes.”

A specific bequest. You can establish a bequest of a particular dollar amount or asset with the following provision:

“I give, bequeath, and devise (dollar amount or description of gift) to PVSB Audubon Society at P.O. Box 2582, Palos Verdes, CA 90274, in the state of California, to be used for its general purposes.”

Other Giving Options

Naming PVSB Audubon Society a beneficiary of a retirement plan, life insurance policy or a bank account is another way to support the birds you love.
